Miss Lizzie took the first part of her journey to Nationals today…I drove her to Tennessee to a friend who is taking her to Kentucky tonite. From there she will trek with Jeff Money across country, a 3-4 day drive.

I felt sooo bad though…poor Lizzie is really in the grips of her season right now. I had thought she would do fine, because we went to the show last weekend and she didn’t show any hormonal effects at all, but apparently now that her cycle has progressed she doesn’t know what to do with herself. I noticed that yesterday and today she’s been pretty snarky with the boys, and when I dropped her off today she was pretty nervous. Poor girl! Normally she just LOVES people, but she wanted nothing to do with anyone. So of course, now I’m second-guessing the whole thing. Sigh.

Thankfully, I know that Jeff is very sweet with his dogs and that he’ll do his best to make her comfortable. I just hope she settles in after a while!
