That they are darned lucky…because it looks like we have sold our house within a week of it hitting the market. And if I had had to keep this place clean for the next month(s) cleaning up after the three of them, I might have just killed ‘em all!

Oh, this is lovely news! I found out that the contingencies were removed on mine and the appraisal came in a mere $500 above the contract price, so we’re good to proceed here. Have you found a new place yet? Made an offer if you have?

We’re building a new house (see post from last month for floorplan). It won’t be done until Sept-Oct, so we’re looking for temporary housing right now. Finding a rental that will take a short-term lease AND that allows pets is not an easy thing! It looks like we may have found a rental house though, so fingers crossed.

Congrats! And good luck with your rental. I remember looking for a place that would allow 4 dogs when we sold our old house and hadn’t found our current one yet. It was stressful! I thought we were going to have to live in a total dump. But then Josh ran into a guy putting a “For Rent” sign in his yard. Nice house, dog friendly and even had two really nice chain link kennels in the fenced back yard. Whew!!
