For a little while, at least. My mother in law has taken Jack for several hours so that I can get work done. Let’s ignore the fact that I’m posting on my blog instead, m’kay? Charlie-the-drama-queen is at preschool. She’s been home for 1.5 days with some unknown ailment, of which the only symptoms seemed to be runny poo and a desire to drive me out of my mind with whining and tantrums. These are the days where I do not relish being a parent. They are also the days where I’m kind of glad that she is not pottytrained yet, because instead of changing 101 dirty diapers, I could have been changing 101 dirty pairs of underwear, pants, and the mess that ensues when you do not have a diaper to contain it. Because I’ve heard too many stories about how pottytraining can fail when a child is sick, oh yes.
It’s a good thing that we love our kids. Same as the dogs…if we didn’t love them, then cleaning up after them would be an every day/hour/second nuisance.
) Not that it isn’t still annoying sometimes.
I will hopefully update with another post later with photos of the house. They are making huge stride of progress at this point, which is good considering they’re supposed to be finished by the end of the month. *chortle* Not gonna happen, but I give them props for trying. I’m hoping 1st or 2nd week of October.

Can I come down and design the landscaping? I had visions of climbing roses up the front with all that lovely brickwork…
And I almost forgot…
