Things left to be done before Friday:
- fully sod yard
- install fence
- adjust sprinklers to account for fence (why they did not wait to install the sprinkler heads until after discussing the fence, I do not know)
- install toilets, shower doors, sinks, countertops
- install all appliances
- finish back deck
- install lights
- stain wooden stairs and front door (hopefully the same color)
- install backsplash in kitchen
- install carpet
- replace all light switches because they installed the wrong ones
ohpleaseohpleaseohplease…I soooooooo want to move! Oh, and the lease on our apartment is up at the end of the month, so we’re running out of time anyway.

Hey, it sounds like you’re almost there. Most of that stuff shouldn’t take that long.
Maybe they can prioritize? Like, replacing light switches can be done after you start moving in.

oh please, oh please, oh please work fast, contractors!!! Fingers crossed for you that the date doesn’t get pushed back any further. I can’t imagine how impatient I’d be by this step in the process – you are SO CLOSE!!!
