Anyone want to guess who the piggie of the litter is? That’s right, Mr Big himself, Vegas. Everyone has gained weight except Pickles, #9. I’m going to try to get her some prime feeding spots and see if that makes a difference.

Hi! I’m Jeri Lamy…wife to Dave, mom to Charlie (b. 2004) and Jack (b. 2007). One of my hobbies over the years has been dog shows, both conformation and agility, and we fell in love with the Cardigan Welsh Corgi many years ago when our first, Brady, joined our house. We have a limited number of dogs and they are our house pets (my current limit is 3…someone remind me to change this if I ever talk myself and Dave into a 4th, m’kay?)…my dogs are my hobby, not my livelihood. I recently raised my first litter after 10 years of involvement in the breed and much careful planning.

Some of these kids are little piggies. You might need to tube supplement Pickles for a few days just to get her weight and strength up so she can fight for a spot. Lizzie must have wonderfully nutricious milk.

I had an Aunt Pickles who I dearly loved as a child. Had not thought of her in years. Love the names!

You have some amazing weight gains. I usually expect them to lose a little the first day, then gain 1 ounce per day after that.
Lizzie must have good rich milk.

Wow. I am impressed with their gains. Good job Lizzie! I agree with Carolyn that a small loss the first day is pretty normal so have all but one make such good gains is great. Yay!!! Keep the pics and updates coming. With all the litters lately, there is a lot of Puppy Fever goin’ around…

Hang in their Pickles…you’ll get the good stuff. We’re cheering for you. We just love those pretty black girls! Can’t believe the weight gain on most of the others…what piggies!
