2 Cardi mixes need homes

Not long after Lizzie’s babies were born, my friend Leslie got a call about a “cardi girl” and her litter of 3 puppies somewhere around 1-2 weeks old, who were found under a bush.  Efforts to find her owners turned up nothing, and she took mama and babies into her home.  Who knew that the first litter of puppies to be raised at Keel Mountain would not be Leslie’s own!  Thankfully, even though mama was thin she took very good care of her babies.  And they had the distinct advantage of being raised and socialized in Leslie’s loving home.

2 of these mixed breed girls are still looking for homes.  Thankfully, mama and 1 baby found loving homes already!  They are oh-so-cute, up to date on shots, microchipped, crate trained, and beginning leash and potty training.  They are a bit over 14 weeks old and we’re guessing at adult weight of about 30 pounds…yes they look like short black labs.  :)   One is black, and one is very dark brindle.  If you are interested in giving one of these beautiful girls a home, contact Leslie…more photos and contact info on her website http://www.keelmtn.com/rescue.html.

Edited to add:  They are in Northern Alabama.  I’m actually traveling to Orlando by car next week and could transport in that direction (through Atlanta and south on 75 from there).

Where are these dogs geographically located?

If they are corgi/labs, they’re generally anywhere from 32-40 pounds when fully grown. We’ve seen a number of them over the years and the temperaments are always very nice.
