CH Snowrose Poetic Charm pedigree
Lizzie is our newest family member! She was born 7/25/06 and came to us all the
way from Washington state. I'm SO grateful to her breeders Dixie Rae, Sue
Stockslager, and Shirley Hobbs for letting us sneak off with this exciting
girl. I have long been an admirer of her beautiful group and National Specialty winning mother, CH
Grangefield Aberdovey Lymric. Lizzie's call name is inspired from poet Elizabeth
Barrett Browning, and coincidentally is a perfect blend of the names of both her outstanding mother
and grandmother...LiLi and Bizzy (Ch Grangefield Evening Endevour)! I can only hope that she lives
up to the legacy of this line of outstanding winning and producing girls.
BIG congratulations are in order! Lizzie's dam was BEST OF BREED at the 2008 CWCCA National Specialty! As if that
wasn't enough, Lizzie's half sister Vanity was Best of Winners and Best Puppy (and Vanity's sister was second in the huge 6-9 puppy class)! Wow!! Lizzie herself was awarded 4th in a
large and competitive Open class. What a wonderful day for
a beautiful line of Cardigans. You can see more of these lovely dogs on the Grangefield Cardigans website.
Lizzie recently finished her AKC Championship in grand style, being awarded Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex over specials at the Bluebonnet Regional Specialty!
Big thank you to judge Melanie Williams for recognizing our girl and giving her such a nice win to finish.
Lizzie finished by attending almost nothing but supported entries and specialties. She garnered some very nice recognition from other
breeders and owners, and lovely wins from breeder judges...even completely out of coat! But most importantly,
she is a "pet" in the best sense of the word...calm, loving, sweet, fun, and oh-so-easy to live with. I couldn't ask for anything more.
